A. No, our agency processes don’t require that you share your plan with your family. We are here to meet you where you’re at and create the adoption vision that meets your needs. We can also help you talk to your family about your plan if you wish.
A. We provide our families with a detailed training on open adoption. We have an in-depth adoptive parent screening process, complete every background check available and a comprehensive homestudy.
A. Absolutely, we welcome all families and don’t restrict on the basis of race, ethnicity or religious beliefs. We have people/families who are straight, LGBTQ+, married and single. A. Definitely, you’ll meet with them often as you plan the adoption. You’ll get to know each other and build an ongoing friendship.
A. Absolutely. All of our families genuinely want a lifelong friendship with ongoing visits, much like an extended family relationship. Even if you choose not to visit, the adoptive parents will always welcome you with open arms.
A. Yes, we provide lifelong relationship guidance and resources. We have a 30-year history of helping birth and adoptive parents create a lasting friendship that feels comfortable and natural to them.
A. Yes, our families and agencies meet you where you’re at. The family will honor you and your choices. You can also stay in touch through phone calls, texting, Skype, email and other forms of technology.
